Hello, my name is Maria.

I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I have experience working within the NHS and as a MacMillan Counsellor, and I am familiar with the 12-Step programmes of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon.

My approach is warm, empathic and non-judgemental. I offer a safe and confidential space where we can gently explore whatever you are experiencing.

I work at pace that feels right for you, supporting you in developing greater understanding, self-compassion and insight.

We can all have times when we feel stuck and struggle with our thoughts, feelings and emotions. Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, creating anxiety, stress or low mood.

Counselling offers the freedom to explore and gain understanding, unlock your potential to live a more satisfying and fulfilling life.

What I Offer

I offer a free 30-minute introductory online session, giving us the opportunity to discuss what you would like to work through and what you hope to achieve. You will also have space to ask any questions and decide whether you feel comfortable proceeding with further sessions.

Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes and take place online.

My fee is £45 per 50 minute session.

I offer a limited number of concessions (subject to availability) for trainee counselling students and individuals on low incomes. This can be discussed during the introductory session.

I look forward to the opportunity for us to work together.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. If you have any questions or would like to arrange an initial appointment, please contact me by phone or email.
